Rural Development: Agricultural inputs and development works.

A ceremony to provide agricultural inputs and farm implement was held in Pyaw Bwe Township of Mandalay Region on Friday.

Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe attended the ceremony and stressed the need to provide assistance for market opportunities of agricultural produces while supporting for timely cultivation and harvesting.

During the event, high yield quality seeds, inputs and drum seeders were provided to the farmers from Pyaw Bwe and Yamethin Townships.

The Union Minister and party later inspected the construction progress of concrete conduit along Thahtay Kone -Thayet Pin Road and gravel paving along the road connecting Yangon-Mandalay Highway to Min Hla Thazi Village as well as the solar-powered irrigation system and sewing industry in the village. They then proceeded to Segyi Village in Yamethin Township and viewed the thriving cotton plantation, providing the needs for market opportunities.

In Tatkon, the Union Minister visited the Cotton Mill and Storage of Hla Garment Cooperative Association, and coordinated the needs.
