Royal While Elephant :Baby elephant turns 11 and half month old

A 33-year-old female elephant called Zar Nan Hla kept by the Myanmar Timber Enterprise in Taungup Township of Rakhine State has given birth to a white male elephant on 23rd July 2022.

The baby elephant is two feet and five inches in height, three feet and one inch in girth with its birth weight of about 180 pounds. Out of eight characteristics of the white elephants, the baby white elephant meets seven unique features such as having pearl-coloured eyes, plantain branch-shaped back, white hair, a distinctive tail, auspicious plot signs on the skin, reddish-brown or pinkish skin, five claws on the front legs and four on the back legs and big ears.

Now the white baby elephant turns eleven and half months old and his height becomes 3 feet and 10 inches, 6 feet and 5 inches in girth and about 670 pounds. He lives together with his mother happily.

As he is a white elephant who has been tame with people since he was young, he is being trained by the Peace Human and Elephant Interaction Training to become more tame and familiar between the elephant and human.
