9 January 2019

Recently retired soccer star Ronaldinho returned to Rio de Janeiro's Maracana on Tuesday for his induction into the stadium's Hall of Fame. The 38-year-old midfielder left his footprints at a ceremony on Tuesday, where they will be displayed alongside other Brazilian soccer greats like Pele. Ronaldinho told media the induction was an honour.

The former Barcelona star has a 2005 Balon d'Or under his belt and had been recruited for top clubs like Barcelona and AC Milan in his career. He retired from professional play in January last year.
