Robot restaurant and mall make debut in Beijing

A restaurant featuring humanoid waiters and a robot music group, along with a pharmacy and a warehouse, are all on offer at a robot mall.

The mall, which will open on Friday in Beijing ahead of the 2025 World Robot Conference, which takes place in the Chinese capital on the same day, integrates sales, service, spare parts, and customer feedback surveys - the so-called '4S' retail model.  Robots range in price from 2,000 yuan up to several million yuan. The store says it will also provide a robot leasing service.
