Robot Games: Myanmar Computer Professionals Association Will Organize

World Robot Games (Myanmar) 2020 will be held at MICT Park, Hlaing University Campus from 24th to 26th January, 2020.

Myanmar Computer Professionals Association (MCPA) will organize the games in collaboration with Clash of Robots Team (COR).

The World Robot Games (Myanmar) 2020 aims to share technological innovations of the students, teamwork activities and engineering cooperation through competition. The event will be a preparation for the World Robot Games (Taiwan) which will be held on August, 2020.

Secretary, Myanmar Computer Professionals Association, Zaw Win Tun said “8 contestants from WYTU, UT-YCC, YTU, and UIT representing Myanmar participated in the World Robot Games (Thailand) 2019 as the 1st edition led by Myanmar Computer Professionals Association. We gained many experiences from there. So, we decided to hold the National Robot Games next year as a preparation for the International Robot Games.”

The Games will highlight Rugby Robot, On-Water Robot and line Tracing. Every contestant aged 10 and above can participate in the competition. About 30 teams with 70 contestants will take part the games according to initial list, according to the Myanmar Computer Professionals Association.

Contestant, West Yangon Technology University, Sann Lwin Moe said “I will compete under the Line Tracing- Junior Level category, representing KMD Institute. And I will try my best to win prizes in the competition.”

The winners will be awarded and will have a chance to join the World Robot Games (Taiwan), representing Myanmar.
