Robot Games-2020: Aiming To Share Technological Innovations

World Robot Games (Myanmar) 2020 was held at MICT Park, Hlaing University Campus on 25th-26th January.

Myanmar Computer Professionals Association (MCPA) organized the games in collaboration with Clash of Robots Team (COR).

The World Robot Games (Myanmar) 2020 aims to share technological innovations of the students, teamwork activities and engineering cooperation through competition. The event is also a preparation for the World Robot Games (Taiwan) which will be held in coming August.

Secretary, Myanmar Computer Professionals Association, Zaw Win Tun said “Myanmar participated in the World Robot Games (Thailand) 2019 as the 1st edition led by Myanmar Computer Professionals Association and we gained many experiences from there. So, we decided to hold the National Robot Games as a preparation for the coming International Robot Games.”

The Games highlight Rugby Robot, On-Water Robot and line Tracing. Every contestant aged 10 and above can participate in the competition. About 50 teams with 150 contestants took part in the games according to the Myanmar Computer Professionals Association.

Contestant, Thet Paing Myo said “We have to know basic electrical infrastructure and basic mathematics theory. We need to think the games logically to participate such kind of contests.”

The winners were awarded and had a chance to join the World Robot Games (Taiwan), representing Myanmar.
