Robert Halfon, Andrew Griffith comment on Truss policies

A British Conservative MP on Sunday took aim at embattled Prime Minister Liz Truss's government, saying the government has treated the country like "laboratory mice" to carry out free market experiments.

Speaking to British broadcaster Sky News, UK Treasury Minister Andrew Griffith also said the Conservative government is still behind Truss and warned against making "more changes."

Truss on Friday fired Treasury chief Kwasi Kwarteng and ditched her pledge to scrap a planned increase in corporation tax as she sought to hang on to her job - after just six weeks in office.
