Riverbank protection project: Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman inspected the project

The Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo, inspected the ongoing riverbank protection project at Ya-Aong Chaung in the Shwe Khe-Inn village, DeckhinathiriTownship in Nay Pyi Taw on January 21.

During the inspection, the responsible officials presented the current status of the project, and the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman emphasized the importance of ensuring the sustainability, meeting the set standards, and completing the tasks within the designated time frame.

After that, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman met with the administrator of Shwe Khe-Inn village tract and the local residents to discuss the development projects for the village, including sanitation and beautification efforts, preventing deforestation, and promoting agricultural initiatives such as cultivating two acres of firewood plantation per village each year.

It was noted that the necessary actions would be carried out in collaboration to achieve these goals.
