





The Tatmadaw River-going Mobile Hospital Vessel (ShwePuzun) and riverine boat (Sagu) with the Tatmadaw Mobile Medical Teams comprised of specialists, medical officers and nurses onboard which are in Ayewarwady Region to provide healthcare services to local people from villages in delta area along the Ayeyarwady River.
The medical teams provided healthcare services to 727 local residents from ZagarMyar village and surrounding villages in Myaung Mya Township on 27th January based in Mahayon monastery.
The mobile medical team provided medical services to 243 patients, surgical operations for 63 patients, 45 patients with obstetric/gynecologic diseases, 35 patients with pediatric diseases, 96 patients with orthopedic diseases, 74 patients with Ear Nose Throat related diseases, 128 patients with eye diseases, 43 patients with dental diseases.
Moreover, the medical team also carried out the general operation for 43 patients and eye operation for 34 patients, took X-ray scans for 5 patients, ultrasound scans for 63, 43 patients for ECG and 74 patients for lab tests. And the team made necessary arrangements for the patients who need medical services at the hospital to receive medical treatments at the nearest Tatmadaw hospitals it’s learnt.
