Rice Offering Ceremony: Maha Thakya Marazein Kyauk Taw Gyi Pagoda Festival

Established by King Mindon, the Founding Monarch of Madalay Yadanapon Palace, the Maha Thakya Marazein Kyauk Taw Gyi Pagoda organizes its 136th Buddha Pujaniya Festival with variety of religious activities.

As part of the festival, a Rice Offering Ceremony took place at the pagoda on Sunday, inviting the members of the Sangha from four wards of Mandalay. Chief Minister U Myo Aung, together with the officials and well-wishers donated rice bowls, cash and offertories to the members of the Sangha.
