Reviewing on work implementations: MoE held meeting of reviewing work implementations

The meeting of reviewing the implementations for the missions of the Ministry of Energy was held at Yadana Hall of the Ministry on the 1st of April and the Union Minister U Ko Ko Lwin gave opening remark and led the discussion.

In his opening remark, the Union Minister said that today is the first day of the 2024-2025 fiscal year. It is necessary for the personnel of the Ministry of Energy to have good performance in order to be able to successfully carry out the objectives set by the Ministry.

It is necessary to have good leadership and management according to the level.The Ministry of Energy is focusing on the increasing production of oil and natural gas, which is important for the economic development of the country and the operation of oil refineries, fertilizer plants, LPG plants in full capacity.

This meeting is held to be able to review the current activities thoroughly for the development of the energy sector by the officials of the Ministry, set long-term plans for the activities to be implemented in the future, and review the implementation of the objectives of the ministry.In reviewing oil and natural gas exploration and production, no new oil and natural gas fields have been discovered after 2007, so it is necessary to make serious efforts to discover new oil and natural gas fields.

Next, the Directors General, Managing Directors and officials reported reviews on the work implementation and the Union Minister and Deputy Minister supplemented necessary matters.
