




On September 8th, Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung, accompanied by relevant officials conducted a comprehensive review of regional development activities in Taunggyi Township, Shan State (South).
The visit began with a briefing on the progress of the project, where the Chief Minister received updates from a responsible official and discussed sustainability and systematic measures.
Following this, the Chief Minister and party assessed the water conveyance from the 50-acre Naung Bote Lake in Nant Si village to the 200,000-gallon reservoir within the project and evaluated the Nant Tabat diversion dam project near HtiPhaung village and TharYarGone village. This project, covering 6,400 acres with 5,897 acres verified, is crucial for advancing the regional agricultural sector.
Additionally, the Chief Minister and party inspected the land-leveling process on the LayMaingGwe-NaungTali-Nyomi-NaungPanabua-LinGwin-HtiRi (livestock zone) Shwe Nyaung village road. This initiative aims to enhance the flow of goods, improve regional development, and reduce traffic hazards. The Chief Minister instructed the need for systematic implementation to ensure smooth traffic flow, minimize accidents, and complete the work on schedule using both manpower and machinery.
