A review and coordination meeting regarding the 2024 Dazaungdine Festival at Maravijaya Buddha Image was held at the meeting hall of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture in Nay Pyi Taw on Monday and attended by Union Minister U Tin Oo Lwin, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo, Deputy Ministers, Nay Pyi Taw Council Members, senior military officials, permanent secretaries, directors-general, and responsible officials.

First, the Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture mentioned that the Dazaungdine Festival at Maravijaya Buddha Image had already been held twice at the national level. He explained that, in order to ensure smooth coordination and effective management of the tasks, various committees, including the leading, organizing, and supporting committees, had been established. He further emphasized that based on the strengths, weaknesses, and challenges encountered during the past events, it was important to discuss and propose strategies to make future ceremonies even more efficient.

He urged participants to openly and clearly share their suggestions and engage in constructive discussions. Next, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman reflected on the strengths and weaknesses of the previous year's Dazaungdine Festival at Maravijaya Buddha Image.

He suggested that the shortcomings be addressed and improvements be made in future events to ensure better outcomes.Subsequently, the committees responsible for organizing the Dazaungdine Festival at Maravijaya Buddha Image presented their sector-specific strengths, weaknesses, and observations on the ceremony, and discussed ways to enhance the event going forward.After that, the Union Minister responded to the suggestions and provided coordination for the requirements.
