



The factories and workshops in the industrial zone 3 and 4 in Insein Township, Yangon North District were temporarily suspended in the COVID-19 containment period
and the COVID-19 Containment and Emergency Response Committee has inspected them that follow the COVID-19 instructions or not since April 21st.
Now, the factories and workshops that follow the instructions of the Ministry of Health and Sports for COVID-19 prevention have been permitted to resume their operations.
Manager, Mottama Trading Co., Ltd, Nay Myo said “There are nearly 1000 staffs and contract labour workers in our company. We have arranged about 30 hand wash basins and also arrange covid-19 preventive measures on the ferries for safety of our staffs. In line with the instructions of the Ministry of Health and Sports, our company is conducting temperature screening, social distancing, wearing masks and measures for covid-19 awareness.”
To provide fully health care of the staffs, the company has already joined the Social Welfare Board. One of the staffs in the company said they keep social distancing and do the tasks in line with COVID-19 prevention.
Staff, Maintenance Division (Mottama Trading Co., Ltd), Kyaw Nyi Nyi Min said “The company arranges hand wash basins and we wear masks when coming into the worksite. We do the tasks in line with the instructions of COVID-19 and arrange for keeping social distancing at the office.”
There are 125 factories and workshops at the Industrial Zone 3 and 4 in Insein Township and they are operating the tasks in line with COVID-19 preventive measures.
