Returning Farmlands: VP Attended The Ceremony Of Returning Farmlands

Vice President U Henry Van Thio, Chairman of the Central Committee for Scrutinizing Confiscated Farmlands and Other Lands, attended a ceremony of handing over returning released land to their owners with the certificate of temporary cultivating permit (Form-3 and certificate of cultivating permit (Form-7) held in Bamae and Moe-Hnyin Townships on Thursday.

The vice president accompanied by deputy minister Major General Myint Nwe, Major General Than Htut, U Kyaw Lin, permanent secretary U  Tin Myint and U Win Khant and responsible officials arrived at Myit-Kyi-Na airport and was greeted by the chief minister Dr. Khet Aung of Kachin State, chief justice of state supreme court, state ministers, state attorney-general and state auditor-general and the members of national races’ culture committee at the airport.

Later, the vice president and party arrived at Bamaw township by Tatmataw helicopter and attended the ceremony to return the confiscated lands in Bamaw district to the land owners with the certificate of temporary cultivating permit (Form-3 and certificate of cultivating permit (Form-7).

At the ceremony, the vice president delivered a remark on the returning farmlands to the land owners. Next, the chairman of Kachin State Committee for Scrutinizing Confiscated Farmlands and Other Lands, State chief minister Dr. Khet Aung clarified the efforts for returning farmlands and other lands.

Later, the representatives from the ministry of defense and general administration department handed over the documents related to the released lands to the Bamaw district administrator U Htwe Myint. Afterwards, the chief minister Dr. Khet Aung, deputy minister Major General Myint Nwe, Major General Than Htut, U Kyaw Lin, state minister, permanent secretaries from ministry of home affairs, and ministry of transport and communication handed over the certificate of temporary cultivating permit (Form-3 and certificate of cultivating permit (Form-7) to the land owner farmers.

Later, a farmer U Than Oo extended words of thanks representing the farmers. Then, the vice president U Henry Van Thio cordially greeted the farmers attend the ceremony. Afterwards, the vice president and party arrived at Moe-Hnying Township and attended the ceremony to return the confiscated lands in Moe-Hnying district to the land owners with the certificate of temporary cultivating permit (Form-3 and certificate of cultivating permit (Form-7).

Later, a farmer U Than Swe extended words of thanks representing the farmers. Then, the vice president U Henry Van Thio cordially greeted the farmers attend the ceremony. Afterwards, the vice president and party left Moe-Hnyin Township by Tatmataw helicopter and arrived at Myit-Kyi-Na Township.
