Returnees From Thailand: 667 Migrant Workers Return From Thailand

A total of 667 Myanmar migrant workers including 384 males and 283 females returned home on 1st July through No.2 Thai-Myanmar Friendship Bridge in Myawady, Kayin State.

All of them came back home in their own arrangements with the permission of Myanmar Embassy in Thailand.

The Kayin State Hluttaw MP and local officials helped the returnees with medical tests and other supplies. The number of migrant workers who returned home from abroad through this border has been over 37,000 until now.
