Returnees from China: 9 people return from China via Chin Shwe Haw

Myanmar citizens are returning from China through the border of the two countries in Chin Shwe Haw, Laukkai Township of Kokang Self-Administered Zone.

On Monday evening, 9 Myanmar people from China came back home through this border. 9 returnees are 3 males and 6 females and they are from Haigyi Kyun Township in Ayeyawady Region as well as Lashio, Namtu, Kutkai, Moe Meik and Kun Lon Townships of Shan State (North).

Out of them, one returnee from Kun Lon Township, Lashio District was repatriated to the quarantine center in Kun Lon by making contact with the township officials and 8 returnees from other townships are put at the quarantine center in Chin Shwe Haw City hall.

Chin Shwe Haw Public Health Department conducted medical test for COVID-19 to them with rapid test kits and their swabs would be sent to the Public Health Laboratory in Muse, according to Chin Shwe Haw COVID-19 Prevention and Containment Work Committee.
