Returnees from abroad: Myanmar nationals return home via border crossings

Myanmar nationals from abroad are welcomed at various border crossings. On 18th February, a total of 68 returnees including 40 males and 28 females came back home through Muse in northern Shan State and 14 males and 11 females altogether 25 returned home via Chinshwe Haw.

On 19th February, 197 returnees including 107 males and 90 females come back in Myawady of Kayin State, respectively.  Healthcare officials from relevant public hospitals and members of the Tatmadaw Medical Corps conducted COVID-19 tests and provided quarantine entry documents for the returnees.

They also explained the instructions of the Ministry of Health and departmental officials provided necessary assistance. The township administration then transported them to their respective places in vehicles and the infected people were kept in separate places to facilitate necessary medical and administrative matters.
