Response to Fake News :Some media releasing fake news to incite stability

It is found out that a fake news is spreading on social media, stating that due to the arson attack by the Security Forces, more than 10 houses were destroyed by fire in Saukchonpauk Village of Madaya Township in Mandalay Region on January 9.

Regarding the news, a security official from the relevant area refuted that no security operation was carried out in that village and surrounding area on that day. The illegal media are disseminating false information with the intention of inciting the country’s stability.
