Response to Fake News: Some media releasing fake news to incite stability

Fake news is deliberately spreading on social media platforms, claiming that 2 children were killed and 4 locals were injured due to the launch of heavy weapons and small arms by Tatmadaw in Thabyay Ni village in response to the mine attack of the KNLA and PDF terrorists near Alu and DaukYat  villages in Bilin Township of Mon State on December 24th.

Regarding this baseless news, it’s found out that there were no mine attacks on the Tatmadaw convoy or no security operations conducted by the Tatmadaw on December 24 near Alu, DaukYat and Thabyay Ni villages and its surrounding areas. It is just a terrorist support act committed by the illegal media outlets who are taking advantage of the current situation and spreading fake news in order to destroy the peace and stability of the nation.
