Response to Fake News: Illegal media outlets spreading misinformation

Illegal media outlets are spreading the fake news that security forces burned down about 40 houses in FetTawYay Village of Nat Mauk Township in Magway Region on the 13th of June.

According to a security officer, residents of FetTawYay  Village and surrounding areas fled their places due to the forced fundraising and recruitment by the PDF terrorists.

Acting on a tip-off, after conducting security operation on the 11th of June, the security forces raided 2 temporary tents of the PDF some 500 meters from FetTawYay Village – it led to fire exchange between the security forces and the PDF, and the PDF fled. Mines and related-devices were seized. And, the news that security forces burned down FetTawYay Village is misinformation.
