Respects Paying: SG pays respects to retired military officers

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla on Sunday evening paid respects to retired military officers and their wives staying at the Bayint Naung Villa to attend the 78th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day.

The Senior General also enquired about their health and social conditions and fulfilled requirements. There, he also highlighted political development in the country, efforts to strengthen the multi-party democratic system that is full of genuine discipline and to establish a union based on democracy and federalism, situations for the comprehensive national development, Long-term sustainability of religion and cultural heritage and emergence of good human resources and welfare services for Tatmadawmen and their family members. In their response, retired military officers said that they’re proud to attend the 78th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day and expressed words of praise for serving the national duties.
