Respects Paying Ceremony: Shan State Government pays respects to the elderly

Shan State Government held a respects paying ceremony to the eldery on Monday, the Myanmar New Year Day. During the ceremony at the Town Hall in Taunggyi, Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye and many other officials paid respects to the elders.

There, 50,000 Kyats each were also donated to 509 elders aged above 85. Also, masks, hand sanitizer and blankets were also donated to them. Concerned officials also provided healthcare services to the elders, it’s learnt.
