Researchers restore manuscripts to preserve Palestinian heritage

Nine young female Palestinian researchers restore and digitize old manuscripts and documents as part of a project to preserve Palestinian cultural and historical heritage in Gaza City.

The project's goal is to gather old manuscripts, books, and notes written by Palestinian scholars during the Ottoman era. The "Eyes on Heritage Foundation" reports that since September of the year 2022, the young women's team has gathered thousands of manuscripts, documents, and volumes documenting Palestinian history.
