

Organized by the Department of Historical Research and National Library under the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture, the 2nd research paper-reading session on “Socio-Economic Life of Bagan Era" was conducted at the National Library (Nay Pyi Taw) on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister U Tin Oo Lwin stressed that by studying Myanmar’s past history, it will enable to understand the current situation of Myanmar and could estimate the future potentiality of the nation through this.
Through the history of Myanmar, citizens can learn lessons from past historical events and will be strengthened genuine Union spirit, he added.
Next, the Director General of the Department of Historical Research and National Library reported on the purpose of organizing the paper reading session. This was followed by paper reading session with presentations on various topics by the speakers, and the attendees raised queries and made suggestion.
