Rescuing drills: Rescuing drills conducted in Kayah State

The earthquake drill and rescue drill for someone from drowning were conducted at head officer’s of fire service Department and Balu Creek and attended by Kayah State Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin, Commander of Regional Operations Command, Chief Justice of State High Court, State Government Ministers, departmental officials and other officials concerned.

First, Chief Minister and officials attended and oversaw the earthquake drill and the members of State Fire Brigade and healthcare personnel demonstrated earthquake drill.

Next, the Chief Minister and officials viewed the rescue aid equipment in land and water, collection of provision for 2 weeks of searching and rescue platoon and fulfilled requirements.

Consequently, Chief Minister and officials proceeded to Balu Creek where the rescuing from water will be demonstrated and viewed the rescue drill of saving two people who are floating in water by motorboat, rescuing five people with Intelligent Lifebuoy and rescuing two people with Intelligent Lifebuoy.

After that, Chief Minister gave words of encouragement for those who participated in the drills.

Then, the Chief Minister provided cash assistance for the members of State Fire Brigade and healthcare personnel who participated in the drills, it’s reported.
