Replying to the questionnaires: Census data of SAC Chairman’s family collected

As of today, the first October, the enumeration of Nationwide Population and Housing Census is being carried out for 15 days.

In the afternoon, the population and housing census data of the Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing’s family was collected by the census enumeration team led by the Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing at the Tatmadaw Guest House in the compound of the office of the Commander In Chief (Army).

The SAC Chairman Prime Minister replied to the questionnaires fully to be filled in by the census enumeration team.Similarly, the census enumeration team collected the population and housing census date of the families of the SAC Chairman Deputy Prime Minister Vice Senior General Soe Win, Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker U Ti Khun Myat, Council Secretary General Aung Lin Dwe, Joint-Secretary General Ye Win Oo, Council member General Maung Maung Aye.

A country implements policies and development plans for social, economic, and administrative matters in an organized manner, based on the demographic data obtained from conducting a population census. The objective is to ensure balanced and sector-wise development of the nation.

Therefore, the process of conducting a population census is carried out every ten years in a systematic manner across the country.The data collected from the census is not only relevant to the government and ministries but also relates to all citizens within the country.

It provides essential information that must be used comprehensively in the management of political, economic, social, defense, and public administration matters across various sectors on a national scale.The Ministry of Immigration and Population primarily takes the lead in conducting the census, which is an important task that involves all citizens.

Since this is an activity that concerns everyone, it is a task that can only be successfully accomplished if all citizens actively participate and cooperate.
