Repatriation Process: 145 Returnees From China Repatriated To Respective Regions/States

With the supervision of Shan State (North) COVID-19 Prevention, Control and Treatment Work Committee, the returnees from China through the border gates of the two countries in Muse, Laukkai and Chin Shwe Haw of Kokang Self-Administered Zone have been transported to the respective Regions and States by train via Lashio since 6th May.

On 18th September, 145 returnees including 106 males and 39 females were repatriated to their regions and states.

The returnees are 15 from Kachin State, 4 from Sagaing Region, 1 from Taninthayi Region, 14 from Nay Pyi Taw, 11 from Bago region, 32 from Magway, 10 from Mandalay, 3 from Ayeyawady, 3 from Yangon and 52 from Rakhine State. From 6th May to 18th September, a total of 16,435 returnees have been repatriated to their respective regions and states.
