Repatriation Process: 127 Returnees From China Repatriated To Respective Regions/States

With the supervision of Shan State (North) COVID-19 Prevention, Control and Treatment Work Committee, returnees from China through the border gates of Laukkai and Chin Shwe Haw of Kokang Self-Administered Zone in Muse have being repatriated to the respective regions and states by train since 6th May.

On 23rd September, a total of 127 returnees including 109 males and 18 females have been transported.

127 returnees are 8 from Kachin State, 10 from Chin State, 30 from Sagaing Region, 1 from Bago Region, 8 from Magway Region, 13 from Mandalay Region, 10 from Yangon region, 2 from Shan State, 43 from Rakhine State and 2 from Ayeyawady region.
From 6th May to 23rd September, a total of 16,725 returnees including 10,304 men and 6,421 women have been repatriated systematically.
