Renovation Works: Progress inspected in strong wind-hit villages

Renovation works are underway for religious buildings in the Tada-U Township of Lewe Township, which were damaged by strong winds.

On Saturday, officials led by Nay Pyi Taw Council member U Myint Soe inspected the progress of the renovation work.

They also paid respects to the Presiding Sayadaw of the Village Monastery and examined the completed renovation of the monastery, which included the ceiling, building, ordination hall, fence, as well as the temporary village clinic and the digging of a drinking water well.

On April 21st, strong winds caused damage to houses, religious buildings, school buildings, and healthcare facilities in Tada-U and Aung Myin Gone Villages in Lewe Township.
