Rendering health care in Bago: Health care services provided to retired civil servants

Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win together with officials visited Bago General Hospital on 21st March and observed rendering special health care services to monthly retired civil servants under the arrangement of Bago Region Government.

On arrival at the 500-bed General Hospital in Bago, the Chief Minister viewed medical test to retired civil service personnel who are receiving medical treatments by the health staff and participation of departmental officials, town elders, social organizations and volunteering organizations in the activity.

The Chief Minister then cordially greeted the retired civil servants who are receiving medical treatments and fulfilled the needs of medicines to the monthly retired civil servants. Under the arrangement of Bago Region Government, health care services are being conducted to retired civil service servants who served in the respective departments in Bago region at the people’s hospitals in 28 townships of the region every 21st day of the month with the participation of departments, town elders and social organizations. There are over 93,000 retired civil service personnel in Bago region and more than 12,000 retired persons are living there.
