Religious Occasion: Consecration ceremony at Loikaw Hsutaung Pyaye Pagoda

Kayah State Government organized a consecration ceremony at Loikaw Hsutaung Pyaye Pagoda on Sunday.

Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin and congregation received the Five Precepts from the Patron Sayadaw of Min Kyaung Pariyatti Sarthintaik of Loikaw, and listened to the sermons delivered by the Sayadaws and members of the Sangha.

This was followed by donating offertories to the Sayadaws and members of the Sangha, before sharing the merits gained. After the ceremony, day meals were donated to the Sayadaws and members of the Sangha.
