Religious Exam in Nay Pyi Taw: Union Minister pays homage to sanghas and nuns

Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U KoKo together with the Deputy Minister Daw Nu MraZan and other officials paid homage to the sanghas who are taking DhammaSariya Exam of the Government at the MingalarByuhaSasanaBeikman in Nay Pyi Taw Pyinmana Township on Tuesday and donated 1 million kyat for the exam center to the supervising Sayadaws of Pyinma township exam center.

Likewise, the Deputy Minister and party donated 500,000 kyats for sanghas and nuns who are sitting the Government Dhamasriya exam at the IntaingTha Monastery in Nay Pyi Taw Lewe Township. A total of 269 sanghas submitted applications and about 234 sanghas and monks sat the exam at the exam center of Pyinmana Township.

About 107 sanghas and monks submitted applications and only 92 sanghas sat the exam at the Lewe Township exam center on Tuesday. The 2023 Government Dhamasriya exam will be from 21st to 30th March (except the Armed Forces Day) at the 71 exam centers across the country. Also the 2023 ParliPahtamapyan exam will be held from 28th March to 3rd April at the 229 exam centers nationwide.
