




The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture offered Waso robes, rice, foodstuff and cash donations to the Abayar Rama Monastery and Myoma Sanmyaing Monastery in Nay Pyi Taw council area on Thursday.
During the offering ceremony, Union Minister U Tin Oo Lwin supplicated the religious matters.
He mentioned that plans are underway to administer hepatitis B vaccines to 1,080 members of the Sanga in Nay Pyi Taw council area, and to provide medical check-ups to the veteran Sayadaws once a year.
He also emphasized that the purpose of establishing the Maravijaya Buddha Image is to showcase the flourishing of Theravada Buddhism in Myanmar, to make Myanmar a focal point of Theravada Buddhism, to ensure prosperity for the State, and to contribute to peace and stability in the world.
The Union Minister expressed that the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture will continue to carry out the religious matters.
