Religious Affairs: Renovation works and printing of religious books

Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Tin Oo Lwin oversaw the renovation works of religious edifices in the precinct of State Pariyatti Sasana University (Yangon) in Mayangone Township and visited historic ordination hall on Sunday.

Upon arrival at the State Pariyatti Sasana University, the Union Minister heard reports on construction of accommodation hall, fence repair, building car parking shed, preparations for staff housing, electrification and landscape works. He then gave instructions for timely completion of construction works in accordance with the set standards, continuous inspection by quality inspection teams, conducting long-term maintenance of buildings and better drainage system.

Then, the Union Minister visited the lodging halls and inspected the land improvement and landscape works. In the afternoon on the same day, the Union Minister heard reports on renovation of the reception hall of State Pariyatti Sasana University and gave a brief instruction on the completion of the installation of new power lines.

Then, the Union Minister proceeded to printing press of the Religious Department, and gave instruction for printing processes. He also visited the treatises book store opened by the Ministry of Religion affairs and Culture and instructed for continuous sale of the religious books for customers with reasonable prices, regular publishing and provision of better services by staff.
