Religious Affairs: Meeting between Ministry and Interfaith Dialogue Group

A meeting between the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture and the Interfaith Dialogue Group (Myanmar) took place on Friday afternoon at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw.

In his speech, Union Minister U Ko Ko said that the Interfaith Dialogue Group (Myanmar) is well known. In Myanmar, there are no bullying issues between the different ideologies of the 4 major religions.

The Union Minister urged the Interfaith Dialogue Group (Myanmar) to provide all-round assistance to achieve harmony and unity for all religions.

And, Chairman and advisor of the Interfaith Dialogue Group (Myanmar) made discussions and the Union Minister gave guidance.

In his conclusion remarks, the Union Minister called on concerned officials to reorganize the groups in regions and states and share the work responsibilities.

The Interfaith Dialogue Group (Myanmar) was established in 2008 to solve religious problems in the form of a non-governmental organization in case of alleged blasphemy, to be informal about religious activities and to follow the  guidance from the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture.
