



Provisions were assisted to the vulnerable flood affected community in Hlay Khwin Taung Koe Khan Gyi Monastery in Nay Pyi Taw Zeyathiri Township on Wednesday.
Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr Soe Win attended the ceremony and made a speech. He said relief and rehabilitation measures have been carried out for the flood affected areas in Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, including education, health, transportation, agriculture and livestock breeding sectors.
He expressed that the provisions could help reduce mental suffering of the affected communities. During hte ceremony, 4.56 million kyats cash assistance were provided for 152 vulnerable persons including the pregnant women, children under three-year, persons with disabilities and senior citizens of aged 75 and above, along with the relief supplies.
