Relief Supplies: Health assistance from China for quake-hit communities

The severe earthquake in Myanmar on 28th March caused major damages in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Bago regions, Shan State (North) and Nay Pyi Taw Council Area.

To accelerate the rescue and relief measures in the aforementioned areas, relief flight carrying 3,288 kg of medicine and respiratory equipment from the People’s Republic of China arrived at Yangon International Airport on 6th April. The relief items were transported to Nay Pyi Taw under the supervision of Yangon Region Government.
