In Da Nang and Hue City, rising waters up to nearly three metres have isolated thousands of households, flooding neighbourhoods and hospitals. And in response, police, the military, and local authorities are working around the clock to evacuate residents and deliver food and medicine to cut-off areas.

Commander of Hue City Military Command said nearly 6000 officers, soldiers, and militia, along with over 500 vehicles were delivered to evacuate residents and foreign visitors. So far, 1,927 households, 7,365 people, and more than 500 foreigners have been relocated.
