Relief Supplies: China provides Modular Houses for quake-hit areas

The relief supplies donated by China arrived Yangon’s Thilawa MITT Port on 2nd May. This is the 11th batch of relief materials from China to assist the rehabilitation efforts in the affected areas by the severe Mandalay earthquake. Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein accepted the 340 Modular (Prefabricated) Houses, and oversaw the unloading of the relief items which will be later transported to the quake-hit areas by train.
