Repair works are underway at the flood affected areas in Shan State. The State Natural Resources Minister U Sai Leik on September 26th visited the sites under repair to oversee the work progress. Due to the floods, parts of Mong Pan-Tarsan Road were damaged.

Moreover, the surge of Than Lwin River has caused erosion, and disrupted the construction site of over 800 ft long Than Lwin (Tarsan) Bridge. During the tour, provisions of rice and edible oil were presented to the flood affected victims in Mong Pan and donated offertories to the Residing Sayadaws of Mwe Taw, Naung Long and Kone Pin Monasteries in Mong Pan.
