Relief Measures: Provisions of basic needs and temporary accommodation

On Friday, Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn visited the office of Information and Public Relations Department in Lewe Township to assess the earthquake damaged areas.

During the visit, the Union Minister met with the staff, assuring to provide requisite assistance to return to normalcy and provided cash assistance and foodstuff.

Moreover, the Union Minister inspected the construction of temporary buildings for the relocation of staff from Dekkina District Training Center as well as sufficient drinking water, clean water and power supply. There, the Union Minister expressed words of encouragement for the staff and provided cash assistance and foodstuff.
