Relief Measures: Damaged infrastructures inspected in Sagaing

Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Khin Maung Yi made inspections at the damaged office buildings and staff housings of the Ministry within Sagaing Township on 10th April.

At Salt Enterprise under the Department of Mines, the Union Minister inspected the damaged and destroyed office buildings, guest hall and staff housings, encouraged the staff and provided cash assistance and necessary supplies.

On arrival at Township Officer’s office of Dryzone Greening Department, the Union Minister coordinated requirements for the reconstruction of office building.

Subsequently, the Union Minister met with the staff from Department of Environmental Conservation, coordinated necessities for construction of temporary office building and provided cash assistance and relief items.

Moreover, the Union Minister visited damaged staff housings of Forest Department and provided cash assistance and necessary supplies for the staff. 

The Union Minister also inspected the operation of district offices of the Forest and Dryzone Greening departments, stressed on safety measures and provided cash assistance and commodities.
