Relief Measures: Bago Region CM inspects the flood relief measures

Bago Region Chief Ministr U Myo Swe Win inspected the rapid response measures to the damages caused by flood in Bago.
On Friday, the Chief Minister met with the regional ministers and departmental personnel at Bago Region Disaster Management Office, and provided the needs for the relief camps.
They then inspected the construction of temporary bailey bridge on the damaged road sections on the western detour road, and instructed for speedy completion of the tasks since it is the major facility for the commodity flow.
They then arrived at Myoma Market and oversaw the sales of goods under the arrangements of the Regional government. They also inspected collective cleaning campaign at the basic education schools, and instructed for installation of water purifiers.
They then viewed the distribution of purified water under the arrangement of the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development and the regional government at Kyauk Kyisu Ward, and clearing efforts to remove the blockage at the major drainage of Bago.
The Chief Minister later met with the donors at the Disaster Management Office and expressed gratitude. He also accepted the donations made by the attendees and presented the certificates of honour.
