Relief Items: India donates provisions for flood affected community

INS Satpura (F-48) of India Navy carrying about 21 tonnes of disaster relief items donated by India for conducting rescue operations and rehabilitation works at the flood affected areas including Nay Pyi Taw Council Area arrived at Thilawa Port on September 17th.

During the handover ceremony, Indian Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. Mr. Shri Abhay Thakur handed over the relief items to Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein. Plans are carried out to distribute the donated relief items to the flood victims as soon as possible.
