

Myanmar Embassy in Tokyo arranged 12threlief flight through coordination with relevant Ministries for Myanmar citizens and their families who were stranded in Japan due to COVID-19 pandemic.
The relief flight departed to Yangon International Airport via Narita International Airport in Tokyo at 1:35 a.m Thursday and carried 156 Myanmar people who could not leave for Myanmar in time, the scholars, those who are cut off their jobs, who complete their trainings and seamen who stranded in the ports of Japan.
Moreover, 20 Japanese staffs and experts who are undertaking measures in cooperation with the Ministries in Myanmar came along with them. For the smooth transportation, embassy staffs from Myanmar Embassy in Tokyo and staffs from All Nippon Airways and Immigration provided necessary assistance to them.
