Relief flight: 16th Relief Flight took 152 passengers from Japan

Myanmar embassy in Tokyo arranged the 16th Relief Flight of All Nippon Airways with the coordination of the relevant ministries in Myanmar.
The relief flight departed from Narita International Airport in Tokyo to Yangon at 11:35 a.m. local time on 24th December, 2020.

The 16th Relief Flight took 152 Myanmar nationals including those who was in Japan with short visit visa and could not return home in time, students who are there under scholarship, migrant workers who are difficult to find job, those who completed internship training, dependent family members, Myanmar seafarers who are waiting for crew change in Japan ports and 20 Japanese technicians and skillful employees who are working for the industries joint-ventured with the ministries of Myanmar.

For the convenience of Myanmar nationals and families who will take the 16th Relief Flight were helped necessaries by the second head of mission and embassy staffs of Myanmar embassy, staff members of All Nippon Airways and staffs from the immigration department, it’s learnt.
