Relief Aid: Handover Ceremony of MRTV DTH Satellites

Handover Ceremony of MRTV DTH Satellites sent by the Ministry of Information for the Mocha-hit locals in Myan Aung Township of Rakhine State was held at the General Administration Department on Wednesday.

On the occasion, Brig-Gen Kyaw Kyaw Oo delivered an opening speech saying that the MRTV DTH Satellites were provided for the locals to be able to receive true information and weather forecast issued by the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology in case of natural disasters. Afterwards, the Brig-Gen and officials presented 50 MRTV DTH Satellites through the ward/village administrators.
