Relief Aid : Construction materials to Rakhine for reconstruction

The Myanmar Licensed Contractors Association (MLCA) said that construction materials were sent for reconstruction of schools and universities in the storm-hit Rakhine State.

The construction materials weighing over 20 tons were transported via Bo Aung Kyaw Jetty on 27th May. The transported construction materials will be used in the reconstruction tasks of schools and universities. It is also learnt that more construction materials will be transported.

In addition to the construction materials, 600 visses of cooking oil and 50 visses of raw peanut seeds were transported for charity feast. To treat charity feast for 10,000 people a day in the Mocha-hit Rakhine State, the Myanmar Licensed Contractors Association and partner organizations including Oxygen Donors & Volunteer Group are transporting foodstuff starting from the 24th of May.
