Releasing fingerlings: Yangon Region CM released fingerlings in Twante

Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein and Regional Ministers inspected the completion of the construction of entrance gate of Fisheries Institute in Twante Township on Wednesday. During the inspection, Director of the Region Irrigation and Water Utilization Management Department clarified the status of completing construction process and the Chief Minister gave necessary instructions.

Then, the Chief Minister and party attended the ceremony of releasing fingerlings into Zee Phyu Kone Creek in Fisheries Institute and donated fingerlings to the departmental officials and the trainers to release into the creek.

Then, the Chief Minister, Region Ministers, officials and local residents released a total of 700,000 fingerlings into the creek.

Later, the Chief Minister and party visited Agriculture and Livestock Breeding High School of in Thawuntaw Village in Twante Township and inspected the school compound. During the inspection, the principal explained about the plans to construct dormitories, dining rooms, practical workshop, livestock farms, meat and layer chicken farm, livestock feed storage and the Chief Minister gave necessary instructions. There are 30 students who are attending agricultural course and 17 students in livestock breeding course.

In addition, the Chief Minister and party inspected construction of inter-village concrete road which connect Tharyar Kone Village and Nyaung Village in Hlaing Tharyar (East) Township and Napier Grass plantation under and precinct of Bayint Naung Bridge and gave necessary instructions.
